Take a step closer to your goals. Transform from current form to dream form in dog sports!
Peak Performance! is the online course for you who feel that you and your dog have one or more details to work on in performance settings, such as competitions. The specific discipline you compete in doesn’t matter much—this course includes general exercises that can sometimes be adapted to the discipline you want to focus on.
A team consists of two individuals and one unit, meaning three different parts, all equally important. I hope that you and your dog will grow and become stronger in challenging situations. To achieve that, you need to understand certain aspects of both yourself and your dog, as well as have a strategy for addressing the challenges you face together.
Peak Performance is based on five key factors that can influence performance in various situations. The course provides a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge alongside plenty of practical exercises to help you, your dog, and your team grow and develop. The course content will help you to:
- Understand the causes behind problems and the factors that lead to success.
- Set smart goals.
- Increase endurance.
- Establish solid routines in competition settings.
- Evaluate training and competition patterns.
- Become an even more cohesive team.
- Handle internal and external distractions.
- Manage competition nerves and performance anxiety.
The course content is based on modern research in sports- and performance psychology, as well as practical experience from the numerous teams I have coached and my own competition career.
Important to know: Training, including mental training, requires commitment, patience, and sometimes a bit of courage. There are rarely any quick shortcuts if you’re aiming for quality development. Therefore, make sure to put in the effort and truly complete the exercises and assignments that come with the course, even when it feels challenging or difficult. Another important point is that you need to approach the course with an open mind, ready to think outside your usual box. Be willing to challenge your usual thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and break old patterns. I promise it will lead to results!
Structure:
Personal feedback is not included, as this is a self-paced course where you will work independently during the first four months. Feedback will be provided after 6 months when you submit and report on a follow-up assignment.
- 9 lessons spread over 4 months (one new lesson every two weeks)
- Each lesson includes text material, video content, and assignments
- After the 4 months, you will receive a final assignment to work on for an additional 2 months
- 6 months after starting the course, you will submit and report on the final assignment from Lesson 9, with the opportunity to receive feedback.
I believe in you, your dog, and your team together!
